Why Dental Square Exists: The Untold Truth About Dental Costs

We’re a husband-and-wife team—a businessman and a dentist—who started Dental Square with a simple mission: To educate patients about their dental health before they make a treatment decision—helping them save thousands of dollars in the process.

But changing people’s habits hasn’t been easy.

We’ve offered free or low-cost dental exams, yet very few have taken advantage of them. At one point, we set up a free 10-minute dental exam station—complete with X-rays and 3D scans—inside a busy mall, right next to a rest area. Husbands would sit there waiting while their wives spent hours shopping. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to help them use their time wisely.

Convincing them? A whole different story. Despite pouring our hearts into explaining the benefits, not a single person took the offer for a free exam.
